M Miller (they/them) is a fine art photographer based in Chicago, IL. They have their BA in Photography with a minor in Journalism from Columbia College Chicago. Miller’s work focuses on street photography and abstract architecture. Their work aims to examine a perceived detachment from the world and the people within it. Their work allows them to take scenes that are often trivialized by skillfully employing elements such as framing, texture, color, and light, transforming seemingly mundane scenes into expressions of their unique perspective. Their biggest photographic inspirations include Helene Binet, Saul Leiter, Aaron Siskind, and Michael Wolf.
